Well, hey there

Hi, I’m Jennifer—an educator, writer, and chronic overthinker who’s lived the question, “Who am I beyond mom?” Also, what do I do with all this time (and all these feelings) now that the kids are growing up?

I help moms navigate the often unspoken transitions of motherhood: from full-time mom to part-time mom to the on-call mom stage of life when they’re off and on their own.

The question I have for you is, “What comes next?” When the house quiets down, and you’re left with—you.

I’ve spent years working with midlife moms preparing for and thriving in the enevitable new phase of life—one that’s a bit quieter, a bit roomier, and, at times, a bit terrifying.

With a little preparation and a dizzying dedication to self, you can craft a life you love on the other side of motherhood.

About The Other Side of Motherhood

The Other Side of Motherhood is where we tell the stories we’ve been too busy (or maybe too tired) to tell until now. I write about life after active parenting—the parts that don’t get much airtime but are every bit as formative as the early days. This space is for moms who’ve been through the carpool years and are ready to rediscover, reinvent, or simply rest for a moment and breathe.

Every week, I’ll share the practical tools, candid stories, and reflections that make sense of this strange, liberating stage.

If you’re craving a genuine, supportive conversation about what comes next——welcome.
